Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 021

Happy Friday the 13th!

I got to play with Mommy's special hat today and it was a lot of fun.

We played Peek-A-Boo!

Then Mommy put her special hat on and made a kissy face.

I can't resist the kissy face!!!  I love kisses almost as much as I love playing in the toilet!

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 020

With Kris Pickel from WKYC Channel 3 News
Oh boy, I sure am tired tonight.  Being Mommy's special helper is hard work.  Today we had to get up early and I didn't get my morning snuggles.  I did not like that.  Then, I didn't get to help Mommy take her bath.  I didn't like that either.  The worst part though was when ALL my toys got put away.  I REALLY did not like that at all.

Then the nice news lady came to interview me but Mommy kept getting in the way.  After I showed off my best Serval impression, I let Mommy finish up the interview.  When it was over and the nice news lady left, I got to have all my toys back!  We were too tired to play though so we took a nap and I finally got my morning snuggles!  Life is good.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 019

Hi, Everybody!  Whew!  Being Mommy's special helper is really hard work. Sometimes it's a little messy too.  Today I helped her take a bath.  We were having so much fun, things got a bit out of control and I fell in.  Don't worry...I was very careful not to scratch her.

Mommy said these are the only photos from our bath time fun today that I can share with you because the others are inappropriate and might draw the wrong kind of crowd.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 018

Hi, everyone!  I had another exciting day yesterday.  I made a new friend!  His name is Froggy.  He doesn't say anything or move around.  He can blow steam out of his eyeballs though, which is really cool!  After I was done playing with Froggy I sat on Mommy's lap and she said I felt like a soggy Teddybear.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 017

Hey, Everybody!  You won't believe what happened at my house the other day.  Mommy and I looked out the window to watch the squirrels and there was a bunch of stuff falling right out of the sky!  It was tiny pieces of white stuff and it stuck all over the ground.  I was scared and refused to get off my perch on Mommy's wheelchair.  She said it's called "snow" and can't get me though because I'm a house cat.

Well, later that night while I was doing my routine security checks, I made a horrifying discovery!  My rubber duckies were stranded in a giant bowl of snow in the bathtub!

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 016

Hi, internet peoples!  Today has been a really interesting day.  Mommy said that since I'll be four months old next week and I already weigh 5 1/2 pounds, that I'm big enough to use the big boy potty instead of using the cat box that is in the people bathroom.

I was excited until I found out that the big boy potty is a cat box in the big, scary basement.  I'm not sure how I feel about this because I really like making peepees when Mommy does. She won't let me make poopies with her though.

We reached a compromise.  I get to keep my cat box in the people bathroom until I'm not scared of the basement anymore.  Here is a video we made today of the first time Mommy let me go down the scary basement steps.  I'll keep you all updated on my progress.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 015

Hey everybody!  I hope your weekend was as purrrrfect as mine.  I got extra snuggle-time on the couch with my family and we watched cartoons.  Then the party really got started!  See for yourself.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 014

Me & Mommy
Happy Friday!  This has been a really good week for me.  Here are some highlights!
  • I didn't have to go in time-out at all.
  • I learned how to jump off my perch, over Mommy's head, and land in my bed that's on her desk!
  • I got to watch fishy and birdy videos on Mommy's computer.
  • Every morning, I get to wake up in Mommy's armpit!
I guess Mommy had a pretty good week too.  Before I was born, she was in a movie with some other cats and now the movie is for sale.  I was kind of sad because I didn't get to be in it but she said I can be in the next one.  If you want to buy a copy, click on her picture below.  I'm warning you though...the cats in this movie are not classy Savannahs like me.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 013

Hi, everybody!  It's me, Bob the Savannah Cat!  I'm almost 4 months old now and life is good.

Recently, some people in wheelchairs emailed my Mommy and said that they want a Savannah Cat too.  They are scared though, that they won't be able to play with or take care of a Savannah Cat from a wheelchair.

As you can see, I love having a Mommy who uses a wheelchair because I get to ride on it with her!  So, we decided to make a series of videos to show everybody what a great team we are!  If you learn anything from our videos, we'd love to hear about it!

Mommy said to mention that she made the toy used in this video out of a stick she found outside, a leather cord she took off of an old handbag, and tissue paper that was stuffed in a new pair of shoes.

Oh, sorry about Mommy's lack of proper people wear.  Parents can be so embarrassing!

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 012

Me and Mommy
Hi, everybody!  It's Bob here again.  Have you heard of a 'time-out?'  They are horrible.  I learned about 'time-out' this week because sometimes I just get so happy and excited that I can't control myself and I go bonkers!  After a few minutes in the bathroom by myself though, I'm able to calm down.  Then I get snuggles and kisses.  So, I guess 'time-out' isn't horrible but I still don't like it very much.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 011

Hi, everybody!  It's me, Bob!  I have a few updates to share.

  • I decided that I really do like that new raw food Mommy makes for me.  It just took me a day to get used to it because it feels a little funny in my mouth.
  • I learned that Mommy's house-car is actually called a wheelchair.
  • I love my new perch that Uncle Ian made for me so that I can ride around with Mommy.  Today, I helped her work all day and even fixed her hair for her.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 010

As you know, I'm my Mommy's special helper.  That's why she had Uncle Ian make me a special perch on Mommy's house-car so that I can supervise everything she does!  I'm not big enough yet to jump up there from the floor so I just climb up the post in the back.

If your Mommy or Daddy drives a house-car and you want a special perch made, email me and I'll put you in touch with my Uncle Ian.

One of my duties as Mommy's special helper is, I have to help her relax in the evening.  This is one of my favorite parts of the job because I get lots of snuggles and kisses!  Sometimes we play a really fun game during snuggle time.  Mommy has a snack and I have to see how many times I can lick it before she notices!

Bob the Savannah Cat - 008

For Halloween I dressed up as a killer cat and pretended to kill one of my favorite stuffed animals called, Not-Bob.  Look how vicious I can be!

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 007

Hi there.  It's me again.  Bob.  Today I helped Mommy in the kitchen.   We made bunches of raw food for me!  She mixed it up in a really big bowl and then froze it in little containers, while I patiently sat in my water bowl.  My butt got very soggy.  It was really fun helping her because I got to taste each flavor, beef and chicken!   I'm not sure how I feel about eating this new food though.  I love raw meat but the gravy part feels strange in my mouth.  She said it's good for me so, I'll eat some more tomorrow and maybe I'll get used to how it squishes in my mouth.

I like pretty things and Mommy says it's ok.  She loves me no matter what I like.  Thanks for finding me such a great home Aunt Pam!

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 004

Did you know I have a YouTube channel, where I post fun videos of me helping my Mommy?  Be sure to subscribe to my channel so you can see new videos as soon as they're posted!

In the two videos below, I'm helping Mommy exercise.  She said I did a good job.

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 003

Being Mommy's special helper keeps me very busy.  I do safety checks  in her office every day by showing her how easy things could just fall over for no reason.  She says I inspire her to be more tidy so that must mean I'm doing a good job.

Mommy's work makes her stressed out sometimes so another one of my duties is to make her laugh a lot.  Here are some of my moves that always do the trick!

Bob the Savannah Cat - Entry 002

Mommy feeds me on my 'Big Boy Table' but I have to supervise, in case she needs help.

First, she chops up fresh raw meat for me.
Then she drives it over to my 'Big Boy Table.'
Next, she tells me what a good boy I am for being patient.
I don't know why but sometimes Mommy puts her hand on my plate and I have to eat around her fingers.  She's silly.

Bob, a blue F3 Savannah Cat
Hi.  I'm Bob and I'm a kitten.  I'm very handsome and smart.  That is why Mommy picked me to be her special helper.

Her hind-legs don't seem to work right so she drives a house-car instead of walking on her back paws like other peoples do.  That's why she needs a special helper.

I have only been with her for a little over a week but I'm pretty sure that she is the boss of everything.  That means I have to help her with everything.  It's a really fun job.

My days go something like this...

  1. When I think she is working too hard, I pretend to eat her plant so that she'll chase me into the toy room and play.
  2. I climb up her house-car to supervise what she's doing.
  3. I help her exercise by wrestling and playing with her.
  4. Her job can be very stressful so I make her laugh as much as possible.
  5. When she is sitting on the couch watching a movie, I keep her lap warm.

It's me, Bob!
